P.D.F. Cup Shared again

The P.D.F. Invitation Cup, for the second year running, ended in a tie. This time the cup was shared between Dave Kimber and Chris Crane. Both anglers weighed in with 10lb 10oz. Dave pegged on peg 1, Chris on peg 26. Both, also, had similar catch's. Dave had o and one decentne good sized Bream, the rest of his weight being made up of Silver fish, whilst Chris netted two decent Skimmers and Silver fish.

On a cloudy, coolish, breezy day the result was quite close between the top four, and one decent fish could have changed the result completely.

Match sponser, Paul Cooke, came in third with an all Silver fish net of 9lb 9oz from peg 17. Jason Farmery landed one of the few Carp in Smiggies from peg 11, a 4lb'er, to help him reach 9lb 3oz and fourth place.

Section winners on the day were Phil Sansby, continuing his recent run of good form, with 9lb 2oz from peg 5. Keith Macfarlane took section 2 with 6lb 12oz from peg 15 and Den Porter won the section 3 prize with 3lb 10oz from peg 31.
