Keith's Report
Pat Porter netted one carp of 7lb.....in the tail!!! Lucky Lucky Lucky . Pat also landed 13lb of Silver fish for her winning weight, a very creditable
19lb 14oz from peg 9.
Second placed Diane Macfarlane had an all Silver fish net of 15lb 8oz. Nearly all of Diane's
fish were caught shallow at around 6 meters on the Pole, using maggot for bait. She would probably
have finished with a lot more fish but she literally ran out of bait!! Apparently her tight fisted
husband decided that half a pint would be quite sufficient!!.
Sheila Myatt elected for a waggler approach, this brought some small skimmers to the net,
Sheila's final tally of 2lb was enough to claim third prize.
Very well done to all those who participated.
